Launched in Summer 2014, The Green Escape is a family run, exclusive hire woodland glampsite which has consistently received 5 star reviews for
its fantastic facilities and friendly approach.
SHEPHERD HUT ACCOMMODATION
Your guests will be comfortable and cosy in one of our seven shepherds huts provided for accommodation.
There are 15 individual beds which can sleep a maximum of 22 guests.
Each hut is kitted out with

Proper mattresses & pretty bedding.

Wood burning stoves and fire wood.

Travel cots on request.
THE BALES ECO LODGE
The central hub of the camp is The Bales, the large eco lodge which can be used as indoor ceremony or dining area. It has a fully stocked kitchen, folding tables and chairs, a woodburner and even a piano.
HOT SHOWERS &
COMPOST TOILETS
A converted shepherds hut split into two shower rooms, offers steaming hot water showers and the compost loos are bright and airy with cute vintage touches.
GLAMPING
OUTDOOR FACILITIES
For those wishing to make the most of the great outdoors, there is also a wood fired pizza oven, BBQ, outdoor kitchen, dining area and a hidden shower amongst the trees.
The young and young at heart will love the 40m zip wire which flies through the shady pines. Guests can gather around the seated fire pit area, or lie back and enjoy the stars in the colourful hammocks hung amongst the trees.
ELECTRICITY FREE
The Green Escape is high in eco-credentials and completely off grid, so no electricity or wifi, just twinkling fairy lights and solar lanterns. Unplug and bask in the glow of the candles and know that you are contributing to a healthier happier environment!
PARKING & ACCESS
Parking is located off site, at a nearby pub car park. Parking is limited to 10 cars. Guests will need ferrying on to site, taxis can drop off and collect directly.
Supplier access is limited and will need to be managed with The Green Escape staff.
DOGGY VISITORS
Unfortunately we can not allow dogs to stay because of the livestock in the surrounding fields.
